The Shakespeare SALT XT Bass is designed to give bass anglers the maximum feeling and bite detection while using a super slim and lightweight blank for long holding comfort. The high grade carbon blank has a fast taper and the power flow is designed in such a way that you can react as quickly as possible on a bite to achieve a higher hook-up ratio. Because of the 2-4oz rating and length of 11ft6, the rod is perfect for estuary, surf and rough ground bass applications. To ensure maximum casting properties, the rod has an anti-slip X-wrap shrink butt and rubber bulb to make long fishing sessions as comfortable as possible. As well, due to the special SW proof K-type guides, the line cannot get entangled around the guides anymore, preventing knots or breakages.
